The Wild Bonfire

ESFP-TCA variant of ESFP

Cries laughing. Laughs crying. Sends a voice note

The Wild Bonfire (ESFP-TC), illustrated portrait

Introduction

Sensitive and Collaborative on top of the Bonfire: things reach you fast and fully, and you bring them straight to people. It is one in the morning, you've cried laughing and laughed crying in the same hour, and three friends are getting voice notes.

Under pressure

Pressure arrives at full strength and it shows. The face changes, the voice goes up, the hands move, and the feeling is in the room before the explanation is. People near you know exactly where you stand. You don't hold a feeling back to look composed; that would cost you more than letting it out.

From outside it can look like a storm. From inside it is caring about something a lot, quickly.

When something goes wrong

You reach for everyone at once: the group chat, a call to your sister, a visit to someone's door with a bottle of something. You say it all in order, loudly, and the feeling becomes real in front of people who care.

Usually it helps. Sometimes by the end of the night you've also taken in everyone's reaction, and the next day feels hollow in a way that has nothing to do with the problem.

How the two fit

Vivid and open: you feel it big and say it big, so people know you. The cost is the day after: full volume leaves you empty. It goes better when one person gets the long version and the rest get the short one. The Steady Bonfire keeps it light, the Summer Bonfire calls, the Night Bonfire takes it home alone.
