Introduction
Sensitive and Collaborative on top of the Alchemist: things reach you fast and fully, and you work them out with someone. It's eleven at night and you've texted a friend, "can I think at you for a second", and three paragraphs follow before they've answered.
Under pressure
Pressure hits fast and shows. For someone usually quiet, the change is audible: more words, quicker, a bit of a laugh in it. You think better with a listener and you know it.
From inside it's bright and a little frantic. The ideas come in a rush, and each one you say aloud either holds or falls over, which is exactly what you needed to know.
When something goes wrong
You call someone close within the hour. Your circle is small, so it's one of two or three, and they know your voice when it does this. You tell it badly at first, in the order it happened to you, and by the end you've found the order it actually goes in.
Then you go back and fix it, quieter, and they can hear that in your last message.
How the two fit
A small circle that carries a lot. The price is that the same two people hear every storm, and you notice the bill before they do. They'd say yes each time. It goes better when you ask them, once, whether it's too much. The Quiet Alchemist carries it alone, the Sunday Alchemist keeps it light, the Night Alchemist replays it alone in the dark.
