Introduction
Steady and Self-reliant on top of the Confidant: things take a while to reach you, and when they do, you take them to the kitchen table alone. The house is loud with other people's trouble, and you're the one folding laundry and making the three calls that fix it.
Under pressure
Pressure makes you more orderly, not less. The list gets written, the first item gets done, and your voice stays the one people borrow when theirs shakes. You feel it; it just takes longer to arrive, and by then you're busy.
From outside it looks like ease, so the load grows. Each extra task is handed over because you'll obviously manage, and you do. Nobody sees the Thursday you spent holding up three other people's weeks.
When something goes wrong
You handle it before you mention it, and often instead of mentioning it. Your own trouble feels small beside everyone else's, and telling someone means they'd worry, and a worried person is one more person to look after. So you take a long walk, or clean something already clean.
The people who love you hear about it months later, in passing. They're surprised. They had a casserole ready and no way of knowing.
How the two fit
You give and don't ask, so families and teams lean on you without noticing. The cost: someone who always gives is assumed to be fine, so the giving runs one way and nobody learns to give back. The Warm Confidant calls early, the Night Confidant carries it in the dark, the Tender Confidant says it aloud. You do it in daylight, quietly.
